Ok, so we've amassed a lot of pointless friends on Facebook over the last few years, but now we've been given an awesome reason to get rid of them all. The Whopper Sacrifice asks you to get rid of those friends and in return your love of the whopper will be fulfilled with a free burger. The problem is that it only apllies to those in the USA.
Awesome idea and lets face it, one of the only good uses for Facebook by a brand. It's also really nice seeing that person's profile picture burn, it is strangely satisfying. It was created by the same agency behind some of the other genius BK work, Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

This is excellent... I'd really, really love to see how much response they get.
The question is, guys - would you?
What do you mean, would we?
If you mean, do we want it to be used by lots of facebookers, then yes. As Burger King are producing some rather good advertising at the moment, well, apart from that video of them conducting taste tests with people that had never seen whoppers; that just took the piss.
Although this piece deserves some recognition.

Sorry, that was unclear. Would you sacrifice friends for delicious, heavenly ground-up meat?
Okay, it sounds bad in that form.
Ahhh, well I have already sacrificed ten 'friends', well they were more acquaintances..but still. Unfortunately it only works in the U.S, so it was slightly pointless, but still good fun.
